Ecodym sweeping log is intended for a non-mechanical removal of soot and tar deposits in chimneys and solid fuel appliances. The catalytic effect of the product is aimed at loosening soot and tar and converting them into ashes, which gravitate in the furnace. This improves efficiency, extends the service lifetime of the chimney and boiler or fireplace, saves fuel, and reduces the likelihood of chimney fires. The product is intended for cleaning brick and metal chimneys, solid fuel boilers, stoves, fireplace-stoves, open and closed fireplaces.
Application:
After an hour of burning fuel, take the sweeping log out of the cardboard box and place it in the heating unit. After the log has caught fire, the process of cleaning the chimney and heating unit of soot and tar begins. The gases from combustion interact with the tar and soot, drying them out and making them brittle. The soot and tar buildups are destroyed and part of them falls down the chimney and the other part escapes with the smoke. Depending on the type of fuel and its moisture content, the cleaning effect will last from two weeks to one month.
