Savent 1 kg is a concentrated granulated product of a new generation for non-mechanical removal of soot and resinous deposits in chimneys and solid fuel appliances. The catalytic action of the product is aimed at breaking down soot and resin and converting them into ash, part of which flies out through the chimney, while the rest settles at the bottom of the combustion chamber. Due to its properties, the granulated product Savent contributes to increasing efficiency, extending the service life of the chimney and boiler or fireplace, fuel savings from 10 to 20 percent, and reducing the risk of chimney fires. The product is intended for cleaning brick and metal chimneys, solid fuel boilers with automatic and manual fuel feed, stoves, fireplace stoves, open and closed type fireplaces.
Application:
For solid fuel appliances with automatic fuel feed
Before adding the Savent granulated product to the fuel bunker, it should be thoroughly mixed with the fuel (pellets, coal pellets, wood chips, etc.). For this, any container with a volume of at least 15 liters can be used. Fill half of the container with fuel, and then add the Savent product (you can use the lid from the packaging as a measuring cup, it contains 100 grams of granules). For solid fuel appliances with a capacity of up to 15 kW, 100 grams of the product are required, for appliances with a capacity of more than 15 kW, 200 grams. Then fill the container with fuel so that it is convenient to mix everything thoroughly. After mixing the product and fuel, you can pour everything into the bunker.
The frequency of using the Savent granulated product for each specific appliance varies and depends on the quality and type of fuel. The effect of using Savent granules lasts from two to five days.
For solid fuel appliances with manual fuel loading
Heat up the heating appliance and let it warm up. After one hour of burning fuel, add the granules to the burning fire at a rate of half a lid per 10 kg of fuel. For convenience, you can sprinkle the granules on paper, then fold it and throw it into the fire. The amount of the product is determined individually and depends on the moisture and type of wood, the thickness of soot and resin in the chimney. It should be noted that a more contaminated chimney and wet wood require more product.
The effect of using the product will be noticeable after the first use. For thorough chimney cleaning, it is recommended to add the Savent granulated product with each fuel loading. In the future, continuous use of the product with every 4-5 fuel loads will prevent the formation of soot and resin deposits on the chimney walls.
Attention! Pour the granules so that they do not spill out of the combustion chamber through the grate.
Warnings:
Do not use the product if there is no draft in the chimney. If the chimney has never been cleaned or if the draft is very weak, check the draft for the first 5 uses of the product, as the soot and resin that falls down can clog the chimney.
It is prohibited to use more than 1 lid of the granulated product per 10 kg of fuel, as this can lead to a significant increase in the combustion temperature and the ignition of soot in the chimney.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When working with the granulated product, it is recommended to use gloves and protective goggles. If it gets into the eyes, rinse them with warm running water, and if irritation persists, seek medical help (it is advisable to have the product label with you). After contact with the skin, rinse the skin under running water with soap.
