Ecodym chimney cleaning agent 1 kg is used as an additive to solid fuels for a non-mechanical removal of soot and tar deposits in chimneys and solid fuel appliances. The catalytic action of the agent is aimed at decomposition of soot, tar and other deposits, due to which their part falls down the chimney and the other part escapes with the smoke. This results in the improvement of efficiency, extension of the service lifetime of the chimney, boiler or fireplace, fuel economy from 10 to 20%, reduction of sulphur dioxide emissions and saving of maintenance costs.
The agent is intended for cleaning brick and metal chimneys, solid fuel boilers, stoves, fireplace-stoves, open and closed fireplaces.
Application: after one hour of fuel burning, add Ecodym to the heater in an amount of 2-3 tablespoons per 10 kg of fuel (it is recommended to use plastic spoons). The consumption and dosage of the agent can be increased or decreased depending on the degree of contamination of the chimney and the heating unit or the moisture of the firewood. Thus, less powder is needed for dry firewood and more powder for wet wood.
After adding the agent, the process of chimney and heating unit cleaning from soot and tar begins. Gases from combustion interact with tar and soot, drying them out and making them brittle. The soot and tar deposits are destroyed, part of the soot falls down the chimney and the other part escapes with the smoke. The effect of application will be noticeable already after the first use. Subsequently, after a full cleaning of the chimney, it will be sufficient to add Ecodym with every third load of fuel.
